Coffee, sweets, and slow mornings
Not every honeymoon memory needs to be big. Some will be coffee, pão de queijo, something sweet, and a quiet morning together.
Celebrating With You
Having the people we love with us on August 15 means more than any gift ever could. We know that attending a wedding takes time, planning, and expense, whether you are travelling from near or far, and we do not take that for granted.
Your presence is truly more than enough.
Our Honeymoon
After the wedding, we will be travelling to Brazil for our honeymoon.
Brazil is part of who Catarina is - her heritage, her culture, and the place she comes from. It means a great deal to us that our first trip as a married couple will include time with her family - especially those who cannot be with us in Canada on August 15.
After visiting family, we will spend time together in Fernando de Noronha and Porto de Galinhas. We are looking forward to reconnecting, slowing down after the celebrations, and beginning married life somewhere that holds so much meaning for us.

Family in Brazil
This trip is not only about where we are going. It is also about who we get to see. Being able to spend time with Catarina’s family in Brazil makes the honeymoon feel even more meaningful.
Fernando de Noronha
A few quiet days somewhere beautiful, after the wedding and after the family visits - just the two of us, starting married life together.

Porto de Galinhas
Porto de Galinhas will be the part of the trip where we slow down, eat well, walk by the water, and let everything finally sink in.
After all the planning, travelling, celebrating, and family time, it feels like the perfect place to simply be together.

Food & Drinks
Some of the memories we are most excited for are the simple ones: meals with family, something cold by the water, and slow mornings together.

Not every honeymoon memory needs to be big. Some will be coffee, pão de queijo, something sweet, and a quiet morning together.

Some of the best parts of this trip will be around tables - sharing food, stories, and time with Catarina’s family.

Fernando de Noronha and Porto de Galinhas are perfect places for fresh seafood, beachside dinners, and meals that feel like part of the memory.

A proper Brazil trip should include at least a few slow afternoons by the water, with something cold to drink and nowhere important to be.
For Those Who Have Asked
We are fortunate to already have a home filled with everything we need, so we have chosen not to create a traditional gift registry.
Some friends and family have asked whether there is another way they can mark the occasion. For anyone who would genuinely like to, an optional contribution toward our honeymoon would be received with enormous gratitude.
There is absolutely no expectation. We are simply thankful to have you sharing this chapter with us.
A Little Glimpse of the Trip
For anyone wondering what a contribution might look like, here are a few examples of the memories we are looking forward to.
Around $25
A small taste of Brazil, whether it is coffee and pão de queijo in the morning or something cold by the water.
Around $50
Lunch by the beach, seafood in the northeast, or part of a churrasco with Catarina’s family.
Around $100
A boat trip, a visit to the natural pools, or another chance to see this remarkable part of Brazil from the water.
Around $200
A memorable dinner or an experience we will carry with us long after the honeymoon.
